Painting in Arden.
Arden runs south of Asheville along the I-26 corridor with mountain views on the western edge and the Biltmore Estate just up the road. The neighborhood is a mix — older homes from when this was farmland, newer subdivisions that have filled in over the last twenty years, and a steady supply of HOA communities with specific color rules.
Mountain humidity and pollen are the climate realities here, same as Asheville proper. Our work splits across established home repaints, deck refinishes, and color changes that need HOA approval. We handle the paperwork before our crew shows up, which saves the homeowner a week of back and forth.
What we see on Arden homes.
Common home styles
1950s–1970s ranches, 1990s–2000s subdivisions, newer HOA communities, and a small layer of older farmhouses near the original road grid.
Popular projects
Exterior repaint with HOA color approval, deck refinish, interior repaint after a move-in, cabinet refinishing, and pressure washing before a sale.
Climate & prep considerations
Mountain humidity and spring pollen mirror Asheville proper. Subdivisions on the open south-facing slopes see more UV; we run a five-year exterior cycle there and seven on shaded ones.
