Painting in Weaverville.
Weaverville is a small mountain town directly north of Asheville on US-19. The Main Street is historic, the residential blocks behind it are established, and the pace is one notch quieter than Asheville proper. People who want a real town with a real downtown and a fifteen-minute drive into the city tend to land here.
Most of our work in Weaverville is on established homes: ranches, bungalows, and a layer of mid-century housing that has held up well. Decks are common. So is the request to refresh an exterior that has already cycled through a repaint or two. The prep standard is the same one we run in Asheville, with mildew-resistant primers where the shade demands them and a real walk-through before we quote anything.
What we see on Weaverville homes.
Common home styles
Mid-century ranches, 1920s-1940s bungalows, established Main Street historic homes, and newer suburban builds on the edges of town.
Popular projects
Exterior repaint on established ranches and bungalows, deck refinish, interior repaint with neutral palettes, and trim restoration on older Main Street homes.
Climate & prep considerations
Mountain humidity carries through Weaverville the same as Asheville. Pollen March through May is the seasonal constraint, so we plan exterior work for early summer or fall.
